Peak Ratio Characteristic Value Sequence Based Signal Processing Method for Transit-Time Ultrasonic Gas Flowmeter

The transit-time ultrasonic gas flowmeter plays a vital part in the measurement field with its unique advantages. In recent years, it has developed into research hotspot of flow measurement. However, while signal propagates gas, amplitude fluctuation is produced under condition energy attenuation and unstable field. This leads to inaccurate transit time that causes calculation errors. Aiming at this problem, processing method proposed paper for based on peak ratio characteristic value sequence (PRCVS). Through mathematical model signal, adjacent peaks defined as (PRCV) peak. According corresponding relationship between PRCV serial number, set reference PRCVS established. By matching sequence, number can be determined. research, PRCVS-based applied system time-to-digital converter (TDC) strict requirements which verify validity method. calibration experiment basic performance test curved pipe were performed standard device, verified stability paper.
